This beautiful Colorado engagement session will be one that I will never forget. Dana and Andrew spent the last year planning and putting together their dream wedding for May 16, 2020. Due to Covid-19 they decided to postpone their wedding to 2021.

Dana and Andrew were the winners of my free engagement session giveaway back in February and as our state of Colorado went under a stay at home order not too long after that, we decided to wait on planning their session.

As we got closer to the end of the stay at home order, Dana and Andrew decided that their original wedding date was too special not to do something to celebrate it. So we planned to take their engagement session photos on their original wedding date! May 16, 2020 may have gone a little different for Dana and Andrew but it was so great to have their love in front of my camera!

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT
Markie

At home near the mountains. Ever-focused on beauty and the thrilling art of creation; found in the moments that leave me breathless and in awe.

This is why I do what I do. Ever since I was a young girl, I always loved being creative and photographing landscapes. Growing up, I watched my parents run our family-owned Czech restaurant in the suburbs of Chicago. At an early age, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur just like my parents but I wasn't exactly sure how I would do that. It wasn't until high school where I found a love for portrait photography. Before I knew it, that childhood dream of becoming an entrepreneur one day like my parents become a reality. In 2017, I booked my first wedding and I haven't looked back since.
