Rocky Mountain Fall Elopement

This styled shoot was and always will be my baby. It is the first styled shoot that I have ever put together and it was so perfect in so many ways! With the help of Jules and all the other amazing vendors, it came together so beautifully.

When I first started planning this shoot, I knew that I wanted it to be something different. I wanted it to be more of an elopement styled shoot and since we had the aspens changing colors, I knew that the mountains would be the perfect location. Since the colors were changing to beautiful bright yellows I wanted the boutique to reflect that. Painted Primrose met all my expectations and so much more! The boutique and ceremony site was perfect! From the make-up to the jewelry, every detail was carefully picked out and planned.

BEHIND THE LENS

ABOUT
Markie

At home near the mountains. Ever-focused on beauty and the thrilling art of creation; found in the moments that leave me breathless and in awe.

This is why I do what I do. Ever since I was a young girl, I always loved being creative and photographing landscapes. Growing up, I watched my parents run our family-owned Czech restaurant in the suburbs of Chicago. At an early age, I knew I wanted to be an entrepreneur just like my parents but I wasn't exactly sure how I would do that. It wasn't until high school where I found a love for portrait photography. Before I knew it, that childhood dream of becoming an entrepreneur one day like my parents become a reality. In 2017, I booked my first wedding and I haven't looked back since.
